Meal Options
Food is a vital part of our day-to-day life. But not everyone eats in the same way or at the same time. Our new meal options give you the flexibility you need to find the plan that serves your needs.
Meal plans (card swipe per meal) can be used in the new Battenberg Café and Einstein Bros. Bagels, while Flexible Dining Dollars can be used at any campus food service venue.
New BlockMealPlansAvailable
The new BlockMealPlanswill allow you to eat an allotted number ofmealsat the Battenberg Cafe or amealequivalency at EinsteinBros Bagels with the swipe of your ID card. You can use as many of yourmealswipes as you like during anymealperiod, providing you the opportunity to swipe in guests, if desired.
The availableplansare as follows and can be purchased through KU Wallet:

10BlockPlan- $121.00
20BlockPlan- $230.00
Blockmealswill not expire at the end of the term in which it was purchased but at the end of the academic calendar, spring term.

*First-year students living in Thompson Hall are required to purchase one of the two Meal Plan A options which are designed to meet dining needs for the academic term. Additional flexible dining plans can be added.
Flexible Dining Dollars and meal plans (card swipe per meal) expire at the end of the term.
Note: Limited Dining Services using dining dollars are available during long no class weekends.
